Purina is therefore required to regulate their products according to the standards put in place by the AAFCO.

After examining some of their product ranges in more detail, their declaration is a little vague for our liking and they do offer a large range of dry food, where we don’t necessarily agree with (you can find out why, here).
However, overall we have given them a score of 7.8 / 10.
Compared to other dog foods available in Europe, like Anifit (which has a very high meat content and 100% natural ingredients), we would position the Purina range as an ‘average’ dog food available in Europe.
In other words, there are better on the market, but there are also a lot worse!
